Dr. Michael Faktor D.M.D. graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997 with a BA in Environmental Biology. From there, he attended Temple University and graduated in 2003 with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D). After finishing at Temple, Dr. Faktor moved back to Colorado and practiced in Aspen and Crested Butte.

In 2007, Dr. Faktor started a two year residency at New York University studying a course of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. After completing the Implantology course, Dr. Faktor moved home to Crested Butte and bought Elk Avenue Dental Center in December, 2008.

Kalee Olmstead grew up on the Western Slope of Colorado and decided that she wanted to make Crested Butte home in 1998. After working and living in Crested Butte for several years, Kalee decided to pursue her goal of becoming a dental hygienist. She attended Western State College to obtain her prerequisite requirements, and then enrolled in the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. Kalee graduated Cum Laude with her BS in Dental Hygiene in May of 2004 and immediately returned home. Since then, she has been working in Crested Butte and loving every minute of it!

Kalee and her husband Adam look forward to introducing their baby girl, Delaney, to all the joys that Crested Butte has to offer.
